Salary: $62,000 - $70,000 

Position Overview 

Friday Night PR is seeking an experienced and dynamic PR Account Manager to join our  growing team in Columbus. In this role, you'll manage strategic communications initiatives for multiple client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and cultivating strong media  relationships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, curious and has a proven ability to  manage multiple projects effectively. 

Key Responsibilities 

Account Management 

○ Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing expectations and maintaining high client satisfaction. 
○ Manage client budgets, develop estimates and proposals.  
○ Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns aligned with clients' business objectives. 

Media Relations 

○ Proactively pitch and secure impactful media coverage across local, regional, national and non-traditional media outlets. 
○ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts. 

Content Creation 

○ Develop compelling press releases, pitches, blog posts, social media content, and other strategic communications materials. 
○ Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure content accuracy and effectiveness. 
○ Collaborate with outside partners and teams to develop engaging content.  

Reporting & Analysis 

○ Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of PR initiatives, using insights  to refine strategy. 
○ Prepare comprehensive monthly reports for clients showcasing campaign outcomes and ROI. 

Project Coordination

○ Coordinate events, product launches, and other PR-related initiatives.
○ Collaborate with internal teams to manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets effectively. 

Qualifications 

○ Proven experience managing client accounts and executing successful PR campaigns.
○ Strong media relations skills with an established network of contacts.
○ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
○ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
○ Proficiency with PR measurement tools and analytics platforms.
